Media: Fiji TV to broadcast delayed matches of Manchester United in the Pacific until 2016

Fiji Television has acquired the rights to broadcast MUTV, the official TV-channel of Manchester United in 21 Pacific Islands, the English Premier League club announced, on the 02/10/2013. The rights cover the remainder of the 2013/14 season and the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

In addition to magazines dedicated to the Mancunian club and players interviews, MUTV will offer all the delayed matches of Manchester United in the English Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup (Football League).

Fiji Television offers two free channels, Fiji One and EMTV and a pay satellite package, Sky Pacific. This is the first time that MUTV will be broadcast in the Pacific,including in its main islands Fiji, Papua New Guinea or the French Polynesia and New Caledonia.

"Manchester United has in excess of half-a-million followers across these territories and our new partnership is an exciting prospect," said Richard Arnold, managing director of Manchester United.
