Lithuania: former international Tomas Danilevicius elected president of the federation

Tomas Danilevicius, 39 years old, was elected president of the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) at the extraordinary congress on 30/09/2017. The former captain of the Lithuanian national team and top scorer of all time (19 goals), was the only candidate and will serve a two-year term as president of the federation. The position had been vacant since the resignation of Edvinas Eimontas in May 2017, said UEFA on 02/10/2017.

"The extraordinary LFF congress also brought a landmark decision - Ingrida Siliūnienė was elected as the first-ever female member of the LFF executive committee. The 44-year-old has already made history as the first Lithuanian female referee in UEFA men’s competitions," said the European confederation.
