2018 World Cup: 7.34 million viewers for Bulgaria - France on TF1 in France (share: 32.6%)

Bulgaria - France (0-1), a Group A qualifying match for the 2018 World Cup, at the Natsionalen Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia, allowed the French private, free-TV channel TF1 to draw 7.343 million viewers on average during the game, on Saturday 07/10/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), according to data from the French audience measurement institute Médiamétrie.

The figure represented an audience share of 32.6%, and allowed TF1 to achieve the best performance in the French television market for the evening of 07/10/2017. This was also the highest audience share for a French national team match since the final of Euro 2016, Portugal - France (1-0), which drew 20.827 million viewers on the private free-TV channel M6, an audience share of 72.9%, on 10/07/2016.

France - Luxembourg (0-0), of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, drew 8.043 million viewers on TF1 on Sunday 03/09/2017 (kick-off at 20:45). Audience share: 31.9%.
