AS Roma (Serie A TIM) posted a turnover of €175m (excluding gains from player trading) in 2017 (from 01/07/2016 to 30/06/2017), a decrease of 20.2% compared to 2015-16 (€219.4m), according to the accounts approved by the board of directors of the club on 04/10/2017.

AS Roma posted an EBITDA of €44.3m on 30/06/2017, a decrease of €22m compared to 2015-16 (-33%). The club's net loss amounted to €42.3m in 2016-17, compared to €14.1m the previous season.

"The recorded slowdown, €28m of additional net loss, is mainly explained by the club's participation in the Europa League, less profitable than the Champions League, the previous season, which had a negative impact of €48.8m in revenue from participation in international competitions, partially offset by a reduction of around €10m in staff costs," said AS Roma.
