DAZN, the OTT sports platform of Perform Group, the British group that specialises in the production and distribution of sports content on digital platforms, have acquired the broadcasting rights to the Europa League, in Germany and Austria, for the 2018-2021 period.

DAZN will broadcast all 205 Europa League matches each season, including 190 exclusively and 15 co-broadcast with the German private, free-TV channel Sport1. DAZN will replace the German pay-TV group Sky Deutschland as a broadcaster of the competition in Germany and Austria.

DAZN has also acquired, via sub-license from Sky Deutschland, the broadcasting rights to 104 Champions League matches per season, again for Germany and Austria, and for the 2018-2021 period, on 13/06/2017 (see below).
