2016-17 Europa League: €44.5m for Manchester United (winner), €16.2m for Ajax (finalist)

Manchester United FC (Premier League), winner of the 2016-17 Europa League (2-0 in the final against Ajax, in Stockholm, on 24/05/2017), received €44.5m from UEFA, while AFC Ajax (Eredivisie), the other finalist, received €16.2m, said UEFA on 20/10/2017.

The 48 clubs that participated in the 2016-17 Europa League group stage, as well as the 8 clubs which finished third in the group stage of the 2016-17 Champions League and thus joined the Round of 32 of the Europa League, received a total of €423.188m.
