NBA: Squarespace (web content management) jersey sponsor of the New York Knicks from 2017-18

Squarespace, an American web content management system, has become a jersey sponsor of the New York Knicks for the 2017-18 season on 10/10/2017. It is a "several year" partnership according to the NBA franchise, but the contract for the team's jersey sponsorship cannot run beyond 2019-20, the third and final season of this experimental programme launched by the NBA on 15/04/2016.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The most expensive sponsorship partnership signed in the NBA was between Rakuten (e-commerce, finance, and digital content) and the Golden State Warriors for $20m (€17m, on 13/10/2017) per season, concluded for three seasons, on 12/09/2017.

As part of the deal, the Squarespace logo will appear on the left pectoral of the New York Knicks jersey. In addition, Squarespace will be able to activate its partnership through fan engagement actions at Madison Square Garden (19,033 capacity, in basketball configuration), via the Knicks' social networks and via the Madison Square Garden Network.
