Matchday 8 of the 2017-18 Bundesliga season drew an average of 48,499 spectators per game on 13 to 15/10/2017. The average stadium fill rate was 92%.

Borussia Dortmund - RB Leipzig (2-3), on Saturday 14/10/2017 (kick-off at 18:30 CET), which ended to the record number of 41 consecutive Bundesliga home matches without defeat for Dortmund, drew the largest crowd of the weekend, with 80,100 spectators at the Signal Iduna Park (81,360 capacity; with a 98% fill rate). Six matches games drew more than 50,000 spectators, and five recorded a fill rate of more than 90%.

The average attendance for the German first division reached 43,312 spectators per game after eight matchdays, with an average fill rate of 91%.
