Bundesliga: Klaus-Dieter Fischer unanimously re-elected as general manager of Werder Bremen

Klaus-Dieter Fischer has been unanimously re-elected as general manager of Werder Bremen (Bundesliga, Germany), on the 02/10/2013.

His two-year term would normally run until autumn 2015. But the leader has asked asks his term to end on the 31/12/2014. "I suggested that date to the board because starting on the 01/01/2015, I would like to carry out only my honorary office as president of the club. I recommended my representative in the board, Dr. Hubertus Hess-Grunewald (Vice-President of the Supervisory Board)," said Klaus-Dieter Fischer, on the 02/10/2013.

The German leader has been president of Werder Bremen since 2003. He has also been one of the three managing directors of the club since 2004, having the direct responsibility of the training center, women's football and the social commitment of the club. Klaus-Dieter Fischer, born on the 27/12/1940, has been working for Werder Bremen since 1955.
