LaLiga Santander: more than 4.9 million TV viewers in Spain for Matchday 8 of the 2017-18 season

At least 4,927 million viewers watched the 10 games of Matchday 8 of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season, played from 13 to 16/10/2017.

Atlético de Madrid - FC Barcelona (1-1) drew the largest TV audience, with 1,342,000 subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo on Saturday 14/10/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). This figure represented an audience share of 10.5% and placed the Telefonica group channel in first place, in terms of number of viewers, in the Spanish pay-TV market for the whole day.

• Getafe CF - Real Madrid CF (1-2) drew 968,000 subscribers on the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga on 14/10/2017 (kick-off at 16:15 CET). Audience share: 8.5% for the channel resulting from a joint venture between Mediapro and beIN Media Group.

• UD Las Palmas - RC Celta de Vigo (2-5): 678,000 viewers on Gol (Mediapro channel on Spanish free-TV, relaunched on 02/06/2016), on Monday 16/10/2017 (21:00). Audience share: 3.9%.
