Olympique de Marseille: Baldassari (Hyundai) new partner and Caisse d'Epargne extends partnership

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) formalised a two-season partnership (2017-2019), with the automobile group Baldassari, which distributes the Hyundai brand in Toulon and Marseille (FRA), on 17/10/2017. Baldassari has the status of official partner, in the third level in the club's sponsorship hierarchy.

The car dealership succeeds the French car manufacturer Citroën, a premium partner (second level) of Marseille during the 2011-2017 period. As part of the agreement, 70 Hyundai vehicles (Tucson, i30, and Ioniq models) have been provided for the staff and first team players of Olympique de Marseille. Every six months, the vehicles will be changed and then re-sold.

The South Korean car brand is also gaining visibility at the Orange Vélodrome and promotional activities will be organised with fans of OM. The agreement, concluded via the marketing agency Lagardère Sports, is part of Hyundai's "ambassador plan", which aims to help the brand's distributors to form partnerships with local sports clubs.
