"I live for OM, my family too, and for us it's a long-term investment that drives our reputation. I appreciate the time I spend there, and I plan to spend more and more time (in Marseille). My son Drew is on the supervisory board. Today, I'm totally involved in the daily operations, and there is no reason why I shouldn't be. But I want him (Drew McCourt) to be aware of all the decisions made because, eventually, he will be more present. My family and I want to stay at the head of the club for several generations," said the American Frank McCourt, owner of Olympique de Marseille, on 22/10/2017.

"I'm very happy with the progress we've made. A year ago, the club was down, with no strategy and no resources. Today we're 4th (5th in the table after the Matchday 10 of the Ligue 1 Conforama and Marseille's 2-2 home draw against Paris Saint-Germain) with a project and competing in a European cup (group phase of the 2017-18 Europa League).
