LaLiga Santander: more than 4.7 million TV viewers in Spain for Matchday 9 of the 2017-18 season

At least 4.744 million viewers watched the 10 games of Matchday 9 of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season, played from 21 to 23/10/2017.

The highest audience was the Real Madrid CF - Sociedad Deportiva Eibar (3-0) match, which drew 1,129,000 subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo, on Sunday 22/10/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). This figure represented an audience share of 6.3%, and placed the channel of the Telefonica group in first place, in terms of number of viewers, in the Spanish pay-TV market for the whole day.

• FC Barcelona - Malaga CF (2-0) drew 1,005,000 subscribers on the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga, on Saturday 21/10/2017 (kick-off at 20:45). Audience share: 7.2% for the channel resulting from a joint venture between Mediapro and beIN Media Group.

• Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña - Girona FC (1-2): 509,000 viewers on Gol (Mediapro channel on Spanish free-TV, relaunched on 02/06/2016), on Monday 23/10/2017 (21:00). Audience share: 2.9%.
