MP & Silva: Seamus O'Brien appointed president and CEO effective on 01/01/2018

"MP & Silva has appointed Seamus O’Brien as president and group CEO of MP & Silva, effective first January 2018," announced the media rights agency, on 20/10/2017. Jochen Lösch (GER-URU) had been CEO of MP & Silva since 20/10/2016 and has now become senior consultant. Marco Auletta had previously stepped down as CEO of MP & Silva on 28/09/2016.

"Seamus O’Brien has over 30 years’ experience in leading executive positions in the international sports industry across the world. He began his career at CSI (which later became part of Octagon) before establishing World Sport Group, a company renowned for many landmark deals in the sports media industry. In 2008, Seamus sold his majority stake in World Sport Group to Lagardère Group, the French media conglomerate, having built the company into Asia’s largest sports marketing, media and event management company," said MP & Silva.
