Sportel Monaco: Canal+, UEFA, and AS Roma winners at the 2017 Sportel Awards

The pay-TV group Canal+, UEFA, and AS Roma (Serie A TIM) were among the winners of the 2017 Sportel Awards, which took place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on 24/10/2017.

AS Roma won the Best Slow Motion prize for the film "Stadium of Tears" made at the farewell game of their iconic captain Francesco Totti (see below). Canal+, rights holders of Formula 1 in France, won the Second Screen Prize for its application "Canal F1 App", and UEFA was awarded the IOC Grand Prize for its "#EqualGame" campaign for integrity in football.

The evening was held under the honorary presidency of Prince Albert II and under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. Director Jean Becker chaired the Golden Podium's jury and former rugby player and coach Daniel Herrero chaired the sports book jury.
