West Bromwich Albion FC (Premier League) has extended its partnership with the University of Wolverhampton (located 15km north-west of West Bromwich) until 2019, said the club on 10/10/2017.

"The University will receive LED and big screen advertising at The Hawthorns (26,688 capacity), joint promotions across social media and the Club’s fast-growing digital media channels, plus a hospitality package for key matches and a West Bromwich Albion presence at university open days. The club also aims to develop internship and work placement opportunities for University of Wolverhampton students across several departments at the club," according to WBA.

"As the university of opportunity we are extremely pleased that this agreement will lead to work experience, placement and internship opportunities for our students and graduates. It will give them vital insight into how a multi-million pound business works and enhance their skills and experience," said Ian Oakes, professor and director of the University of Wolverhampton.
