Germany: cooperation agreement (sport, marketing, and management) between the DFL and the DIMAYOR

"DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga and the Colombian División Mayor del Fútbol Colombiano (DIMAYOR) signed a wide-ranging cooperation agreement in Frankfurt (GER) today (on 26/10/2017) with the intent to collaborate more closely. The agreement will see the two leagues develop joint initiatives in fields of sports, marketing and management and was signed by DFL CEO Christian Seifert and DIMAYOR president Jorge Fernando Perdomo," said the DFL on 26/10/2017.

The joint agreement came during a four-day visit by a DIMAYOR committee to Germany. Representatives of the Colombian league including ten football clubs from the division, traveled to the DFL headquarters in Frankfurt and also to the homes of two Bundesliga clubs, VfB Stuttgart and FC Bayern Munich, in order to study how German professional football is structured and organised, according to the DFL.
