Bundesliga: turnover of €63.4m and profit of €1.8m for SC Freiburg in 2016-17

SC Freiburg (Bundesliga) reported a turnover of €63.4m and a profit of €1.8m for the 2016-17 fiscal year, said the club following the annual general meeting of its members, on 27/10/2017.

"The Sport-Club Freiburg eV, which had 11,983 members on 30/06/2017, lists 14,000 as of 27/10/2017," said the club. Fritz Keller, president of the association since 2010, has been reappointed for a three-year term.

"We want to remain under the status of association (eV). We are a club full of conviction. A separation between an associative structure and a commercial structure for the club is not relevant. We are economically healthy. We do not need a spin-off and nor do we want one," said Fritz Keller on 27/10/2017.
