Transfers: FIFA TMS to launch DTMS, the first domestic transfer matching system

FIFA TMS (Transfer Matching System), FIFA's (Federation Internationale de Football Association) online recording platform of international transfers, has created the DTMS (Domestic Transfer Matching System), the first national system to regulate transfers, on the 09/10/2013.

The platform, which is currently used by many national federations, will launch a first version of the domestic regulation system in 2014.

"DTMS, new Premium service, is modelled on ITMS (International Transfer Matching System), which is provided to over 200 members associations and 6,500 clubs for cross-border player transfers," said FIFA.

"IFA TMS developed the new system following feedback from numerous members associations and clubs expressing the need for a domestic transfer system based on ITMS," said the International Federation.

FIFA TMS processed 10,454 international movement of players during the first eight months of 2013, indicated the instance on the 03/09/2013.
