Twitter: 64.74 million followers in total for the 20 Premier League clubs (November 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Premier League season have a cumulative 64.74 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/11/2017. The Premier League is ranked first in the European Top 5 leagues on this platform, with an average of 3.24 million followers per club.

Manchester United FC, the most-followed English club on Twitter, surpassed 15 million followers (15,406,476) and had the largest increase in followers (718,235) and best percentage growth (+4.9%), compared to 01/10/2017.

Manchester City FC exceeded the 5 million followers mark (5,154,690, 5th), but remain behind Arsenal FC (12,025,090, 2nd), Chelsea FC (10,627,575, 3rd), and Liverpool FC (8,886,635, 4th).

In total, the 20 Premier League clubs drew 2,207,857 new followers in October 2017, almost one million more new followers than the 58 clubs of the Ligue 1 Conforama, the Serie A TIM, and the Bundesliga combined (1,212,643).
