The 18 clubs in the 2017-18 Bundesliga have a cumulative total of 12.96 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/11/2017. The Bundesliga, which surpassed 10 million followers in March 2017, is the least-followed Top 5 league on Twitter, with an average of 720,155 followers per club.

Bayern Munich is the most popular German club on Twitter, with 4.1 million followers, up 69,977 followers (+1.7%) compared to the beginning of October 2017. Bayern is the only club in Bundesliga to count more than 4 million followers. Borussia Dortmund is the second most popular club with 3 million followers (3,050,620).

With a 4% increase in followers, 1. FC Köln is the Bundesliga club with the best percentage growth on Twitter for the month of October 2017.

Eintracht Frankfurt has surpassed 400,000 followers (405,479 on 01/11/2017) during the month of October 2017.
