Twitter: 19.43 million followers in total for the 20 clubs of the Serie A TIM (November 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM have a cumulative total of 19.43 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/11/2017. The Serie A TIM ranks third in the Top 5 European leagues, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of 971,378 followers per club.

AC Milan is the most-followed Italian club on Twitter, and crossed the 6 million follower mark (6,056,039) in October 2017. The Milan club is also the Serie A TIM club (not including promoted sides), which recorded the highest percentage growth (+ 3.3%) and volume (+191,033 followers) compared to 01/10/2017.

SPAL (19^th, +5.2%) and Benevento Calcio (20^th, +7%), both promoted in 2017-18, have the best percentage growth.
