Premier League: Gatorade (sports drinks) becomes official partner of Manchester City

Gatorade, a sports drinks brand of the US group PepsiCo, has become the official "sports nutrition" partner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) on 06/11/2017. The agreement, the official duration of which has not been disclosed, covers several seasons. It is a global, top-level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of Manchester City.

As part of the partnership, Gatorade will gain visibility on the advertising panels at the Etihad Stadium (55,097 capacity) as well as on the various communication platforms of the club. The brand will activate its partnership with Manchester City and create engagement with fans through behind-the-scenes video content of the English club.

In addition, the Manchester City medical staff will collaborate with GSSI (Gatorade Sports Science Institute) based in Barrington (Illinois, USA) and Bradenton (Florida, USA) to optimise performance improvement programmes for the physical recovery of Manchester City players. City players will also use Gatorade products and equipment during training and at official club games.
