PyeongChang: partner Intel organises two eSports tournaments ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics

The Intel Corporation will offer two eSports experiences as a prelude to the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games (KOR), announced the US company specialising in IT and electronics, on 03/11/2017. Intel Corporation is a TOP Global Partner (first level) of the IOC from 21/06/2017 until 2024.

"The Intel Extreme Masters PyeongChang eSports tournament featuring one of the most celebrated eSports titles of all time, Blizzard Entertainment’s 'StarCraft II,' and a separate exhibition featuring Ubisoft’s action-sports title 'Steep Road to the Olympics', the official licensed game of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018," said Intel on 03/11/2017.

"Intel Extreme Masters PyeongChang, an extension of the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) brand produced in partnership with ESL, will be open to any player, at any level via global online qualifiers, which will take place in November.
