Arsenal FC: "Developing and renovating areas of the Emirates Stadium" in 2018 and 2019

"We will be developing and renovating areas of the Emirates Stadium over the next two years to help bring our capacity back in line with our original figure from 2006," announced Arsenal FC (Premier League) on 01/11/2017.

The original capacity of the Emirates Stadium was 60,600 in 2006, and was gradually reduced to 59,867 for 2017-18, for reasons of safety and accessibility for the benefit of the disabled. "Next May we will begin work on adding approximately 780 extra seats to Club Level (hospitality area) to help bring our capacity back in line with our original figure from 2006. It will involve adding an extra row to the front of Club Level and will take our capacity to just over 60,600," added the north London club.

"The development of Club Level is crucial to ensuring fan experience at games is at its best whilst also enabling us to stay at the forefront of stadium hospitality.
