The Football Federation of Australia (FFA) and the media rights and marketing agency IMG will make Australian domestic matches available internationlly via the Icelandic OTT platform OZ, on 14/10/2017. The platform, launched in 2015, will now provide access to the broadcast of the Hyundai A-League internationally via a subscription (see below).

"It’s also pleasing to expand our OTT footprint this season and ensure no matter where our fans are they will have access to coverage in every corner of the globe," said David Gallop, chief executive officer of the FFA, on 14/10/2017.

IMG has acquired, from the FFA, the international media rights of the Hyundai A-League for six seasons starting with the 2017-18 season, on 19/06/2017. The new "multimillion dollar" agreement also includes the right to market the Westfield W-League, the Westfield FFA Cup, and selected matches of the Australian national men's team ("Caltex Socceroos" ) and the women's team ("Westfield Matildas").
