MP & Silva exclusive broadcaster of Scottish football in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia

Media and marketing rights agency MP & Silva has been appointed for the 2013/14 season, "international development partner" of SPFL (Scottish Professional Football League), which manages the 42 clubs of the four firsts Scottish divisions, the league announced on the 08/10/2013.

Under the agreement, MP & Silva will be the exclusive holder of the SPFL's broadcast rights in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia during the 2013/14 season, one year earlier than what the agreement between SPFL (then still called SPL) and MP & Silva stipulated, when it was signed on the 14/06/2013. That day, MP & Silva had obtained the exclusive international distribution rights of the Scottish Premier League for the 2014-2023 period.

The agreement of June 2013 excludes the European Union (where SPFL sells its own TV rights) and covers all live televised matches of the Scottish first division each season. MP & Silva will be the exclusive distributor of broadcasting rights for all distribution platforms, on mobile and Internet platforms, except the mobile rights held by some Scottish clubs.
