"We want to become world leaders in the football market. Intersport has a very real strategy to grow in this sport. We have partnered with major football brands across the world," explained Jean-François Greco, Sales Director of Intersport to NTF, in conjunction with the announcement of their partnership extension with Olympique de Marseille, on the 04/10/2013. Intersport has supported OM since the 2010/11 season and will be the club's main shirt sponsor until the end of the 2014/15 season.

"The financial effort is particularly important this year, and not just anecdotal" for Intersport whose "shirt sales rose by 40% in 2013 compared to 2012. Olympique de Marseille represent more than 30% of our sales." In total, the club has sold 350,000 shirts for the 2012/13 season, which represents a turnover of €50m, and a revenue of €10m, according to the club.

Jean-François Greco talks to NTF about Intersport's strategy in football, as well as its partnership with Olympique de Marseille, led by innovative activations.
