2018 World Cup: 28 countries qualified as of 12/11/2017, the last four to be confirmed by 16/11/2017

Switzerland and Croatia in Europe, and Senegal, Morocco, and Tunisia in Africa have qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, to be held from 14/06 to 15/07/2018. These five countries join the 23 other already qualified countries, including Russia, the host country.

Switzerland eliminated Northern Ireland in the UEFA-zone qualification play-offs (1-0 on aggregate), while Croatia defeated Greece (4-1 on aggregate). The last two European qualification play-off matchups are between Italy and Sweden on Monday 13/11/2017 (0-1 to the Swedes after the first leg), and then the Republic of Ireland and Denmark on Tuesday 14/11/2017 (0-0 in the first leg in Copenhagen).

Of the African countries, Egypt (Group E) and Nigeria (Group B), had already qualified, and will be joined by Tunisia (Group A), Morocco (Group C), and Senegal (Group D).

The last two qualified countries will be confirmed by 16/11/2017 after the return legs of the inter-continental qualification play-offs between Australia - Honduras and Peru - New Zealand (see below).
