2017 Footgolf Cup: final organised in Marrakech (Morocco), from 07 to 10/12/2017

The final of the 2017 Footgolf Cup will take place at the Al Maaden Golf Resort in Marrakech (Morocco), from Thursday 07 to Sunday 10/12/2017. It will be the fourth edition of this competition and the second one played abroad, after the 2016 final held at The Montgomerie Golf club, in the same city of Marrakech.

The finalists qualified for the 27 stages of the Footgolf Cup, a competition that drew nearly 3,000 participants and took place on the French territory from March to December 2017. The competition is organised by the French Footgolf Association (AFFG), which has aimed, since its creation in 2013, to organise, develop and promote the practice of footgolf, the sport derived from football and golf, in France. Invented in the Netherlands in 2009, footgolf is played with a football on adapted golf courses.
