SD Eibar: turnover of €42.99m (+34%) and net profit of €10.82m for the 2016-17 season

SD Eibar (LaLiga Santander) posted a turnover of €42.99m and a net profit of €10.82m for the 2016-17 season (from 01/07/2016 to 30/06/2017), announced the Basque club on 10/11/2017.

SD Eibar's turnover was up 34% compared to in 2015-16 (€32.04m). This increase was mainly due to the increase in TV rights of the club: €38.55m, compared to €27.32m in 2015-16 (+41%).

The club's wage bill for the 2016-17 fiscal year was €27.24m, up 69% compared to the previous year (€16.12m). It represented 77% of the club's total expenses, compared to 72% in the previous year.

"The board of directors of SD Eibar will present for approval, at the annual general meeting on Wednesday 13/12/2017, a projected budget of €45.3m for the 2017-18 season, with a profit of €15.2m before taxes," said the club.
