NBA: Turner Sports and Intel form virtual reality partnership ahead of the 2018 NBA All Star Game

Turner Sports, an American company that manages the sports TV rights of the Turner group's channels (TNT, TBS, TruTv, and CNN in Spanish) and Intel Corporation, an American company specialising in computing and electronics, have formed a partnership centered on virtual reality, on 07/11/2017. As part of this "multi-year" agreement, Intel will offer NBA fans the opportunity to watch live and in virtual reality "big games" broadcast on the pay-TV channel TNT. The first virtual reality experience will take place at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles (USA) on February 18/02/2018.

"The multiyear partnership makes Intel the exclusive provider of virtual reality for the NBA on TNT, using Intel True VR cameras to capture live game footage from multiple angles in order to allow fans to view the game from different locations throughout the arena," said Intel.
