Nike Inc. to expect a turnover of $ 36bn for the 2016/17 fiscal year

Kit supplier Nike Inc. has recorded a turnover of 36 billion dollars (about € 26.6bn) for the 2016/17 fiscal year, the American company announced, on the 09/10/2013. This would represent an increase of 42.3% compared to 2012/13, or an increase of 10.57% per year. The turnover for the 2012/13 financial year, which ended on the 31/05/2013, was $ 25.3bn (approximately € 18.7bn).

The brand is expecting a turnover of 30 billion dollars (about € 22.2bn) for the 2014/15 fiscal year. The company expects to record a growth in all its activities, through its new clothing lines and the development of its e-commerce activity.

"We will continue to innovate and grow by focusing on products and services that capture the imagination of our consumer and help athletes perform at their highest potential," said Trevor Edwards, president of the Nike brand, on the 09/10/2013.
