Sevilla FC: turnover of €137.67m (+29.2%) and a net profit of €23.5m in 2016-17

Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) achieved a turnover (excluding gains from player trading) of €137.67m for the 2016-17 fiscal year (from 01/07/2016 to 30/06/2017), up 29.2% compared to the previous year (€106.55m).

The net profit for the 2016-17 was €23.493m, an increase of 50.9% (€15.57m). Operating profit rose by 53.8%, from €19.96m in 2015-16 to €30.69m in 2016-17.

Sevilla FC notably benefited from the increase in LaLiga Santander's domestic TV rights over the 2016-2019 period (€2.65bn over three years). The club's TV rights increased, across all competitions, from €38.08m to €71.08m (+86.7%) in one year.

The club's wage bill was €99.6m, compared to €87.2m in 2016 (+14.2%), and represented 72.4% of the club's turnover (excluding player trading). Capital gains on player transfers amounted to €56.7m in 2016-17, versus €42.5m in 2015-16 (+33.4%).
