Domino's Ligue 2: AJ Auxerre will open its first academy in China by March 2018

"AJ Auxerre (Domino's Ligue 2) have signed a cooperation agreement with the sports club of the city of Bengbu (CHN) for the establishment of its first AJA Academy in China, which is scheduled to open by March 2018," announced the club on 09/11/2017.

"The academy will be established in Bengbu, a town of about 4 million people in the Anhui province (population: 60 million). The sports complex (which includes a stadium of 35,000 capacity, a school, and a boarding school) is being completed. The first class of the AJA Academy in Bengbu will consist of about sixty players. Like AJA, Bengbu is recognised in China for having trained many international players," added AJ Auxerre.

"The establishment of this first AJA Academy solidifies the project of the club and its shareholder to set up in China. It is a real pride for AJ Auxerre to be able to export its historical know-how in terms of training to an emerging country of world football of which we are particularly passionate about," concluded Auxerre.
