Liga NOS: FC Porto record a turnover of €99m and a net profit of -€35.3m for the 2016-17 season

FC Porto (Liga NOS) posted a turnover (excluding capital gains on player trading) of €99m in the 2016-17 fiscal year (from 01/07/2016 to 30/06/2017), an increase of 30.6% compared to the 2015-16 fiscal year (€75.8m), announced the club on 31/10/2017.

For 2016-17, the club posted an operating profit of -€18.37m, versus -€41.5m in the 2015-16 fiscal year. The net profit was -€35.3m, compared to -€58.4m the previous year.

FC Porto was the only club to be sanctioned by the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), the examining chamber for non-compliance with the requirements of financial fair play, from the 2016-17 season (see below).
