United Kingdom: SkyBet (betting) extends as title sponsor of the Football League until 2023-24

Sky Bet, the UK online sports betting operator, has extended its partnership as the title sponsor of the English Football League (2nd, 3rd, and 4th English divisions - 72 clubs in total) for five years until 2023-24, announced the EFL on 17/11/2017. The monetary amount of the transaction "represents a 20% year-on-year increase from 2019-20," previously £6m (€6.7m) per year, which will be around £7.2m a year (€8m).

Sky Bet became the title sponsor of the English Football League on 18/07/2013, before extending its agreement until 2018-19, on 22/12/2015. Since the 2013-14 season, the English League has been named the "SkyBet Football League" and the "SkyBet English Football League". The betting operator is the title sponsor of the second, third, and fourth divisions, which include the "SkyBet Championship" (2nd division), the "SkyBet League One" (3rd division) and the "SkyBet League Two" (4th division).
