eSports: Schalke 04 ESports sign partnership with Twitch (eSports broadcast platform)

FC Schalke 04 Esports and Twitch (eSports broadcast platform) are forming an exclusive partnership to "deliver quality live content to their fans," said the German club on 07/11/2017.

"The royal blue Esports professionals will be featured exclusively on their own channels on Twitch. With this move, FC Schalke 04 and Twitch bring their fans and communities together - and together they are taking an important step into the digital future of the sports industry in Germany and abroad," said Schalke.

"With the help of Twitch, we bring live content from our players directly into the living rooms of the fans. As in classic football, we want to strengthen the interaction between players and fans, while also promoting long-term player careers. Twitch offers the ideal platform for this," said Tim Reichert, FC Schalke 04's chief gaming officer on 07/11/2017.
