Ligue 1 Conforama: Orange, official partner of Stade Rennais FC, equips Roazhon Park with 4G

The telecom operator Orange, an official partner of Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Conform), will equip Roazhon Park (29,164 capacity) with 4G technology, announced the club on 22/11/2017. 4G will be active in the stadium for the Brittany derby between Stade Resnais FC - FC Nantes on Saturday 25/11/2017 at 17:00 CET.

"Six new antennas will be activated, Roazhon Park will be the first stadium in the west (of France) to benefit from excellent 3G+, 4G, and 4G+ coverage. In all stands, spectators will be able to connect and surf the internet, share photos and videos, check their emails, access their favorite social networks and applications. The real winners of these new facilities are the residents within a radius of 500 meters of Roazhon Park, who will benefit from the coverage 24 hours a day 7 days a week," added the club.

"30,000 SMS can be sent or 6,000 calls can be made simultaneously. The €300,000 investment is funded entirely by Orange themselves," said Pierre Jacobs, director for Orange Ouest (West) on 22/11/2017.
