Rugby: Tudor (watchmaker) the official timekeeper of World Rugby competitions until 2023

Tudor, a brand of the Swiss watch group Rolex, has become the official timekeeper of World Rugby competitions, for seven years until the 2023 World Cup, announced World Rugby on 26/11/2017.

"The seven-year deal is the biggest of its kind for the international federation and will see Tudor become the Official Timekeeper of Rugby World Cup 2019 (Japan) and 2023 (France), Women’s Rugby World Cup 2021, Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 and 2022, and the annual World Rugby U20 Championship. The partnership also covers Presenting Partner status for the World Rugby Hall of Fame, located in Rugby, England, and the World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year Award at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco in 2017 and 2018," added World Rugby. The first World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year Award (2017) was presented to New Zealand winger Rieko Ioane on 26/11/2017.
