Twitter: 19.9 million followers in total for the 20 clubs of the Serie A TIM (December 2017)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM have a cumulative total of 19.9 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2017. The Serie A TIM ranks third in the Top 5 European leagues, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of 995,125 followers per club.

AC Milan is the most-followed Italian club on Twitter with 6.2 million follwers, ahead of Juventus (5.6 million). The Turin club is the club of Serie A TIM (not including promoted sides) which recorded the highest percentage growth (+3.2%) and volume (+173,273 followers) compared to on 01/11/2017.

SPAL (19th, +4.2%) and Benevento Calcio (20th, +7.9%) both promoted in 2017-18, had the best percentage growth in November 2017.
