Twitter: 13.2 million followers in total for the 18 Bundesliga clubs (December 2017)

The 18 clubs participating in the 2017-18 Bundesliga season have 13.22 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2017. The Bundesliga is the least-watched Top 5 league on Twitter, with an average of 734,391 followers per club.

Bayern Munich is the most popular German club on Twitter, with 4.17 million subscribers, up 1.6% from the beginning of November 2017. Bayern is the only Bundesliga club with more than 4 million followers. Borussia Dortmund, second the rankings, totals more than 3 million followers (3,081,215).

With 5% more followers, RB Leipzig is the club with the highest percentage growth on Twitter in November 2017, but remains the least followed Bundesliga club with 141,844 followers.

Hannover 96 surpassed the 300,000 followers mark (300,489 as of 01/12/2017) during the month of November 2017.
