Fans are to be given unsold tickets for the U-17 World Cup, held in the UAE from the 17/10 to the 08/11/2013, an initiative of the organising committees of the host cities of the competition.

"In line with H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Al Nahayan’s vision for a tournament that reaches out to the future generations of young football fanatics in the UAE, the venue organising committees will distribute the remaining tournament tickets to young fans in each Emirate", said FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association), on the 14/10/2013.

The free tickets will be allocated on a "on first come first served basis at no cost at all six host venues on match days."

"It is an event that will inspire young people and it is so important that we work closely with the venue organizing committees in giving as many fans as possible the chance to watch the action live in the stadiums," said Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
