FIFA extends its cooperation with eight manufacturers of artificial turf and chooses ninth

FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) announced a two year extension of its cooperation with eight companies manufacturing artificial turf, and the signing of a new contract with CCGrass, the first China-based manufacturer of the Federation, on the 14/10/2013.

Links with these nine companies fall under the "The FIFA Quality Programme for Football Turf" program, created in 2001. Since 2009, the International Federation has also introduced the concept of "Preferred Producers" to ensure the quality of artificial turf.

Only fields installed with these new products, and companies that have passed the evaluation of FIFA, can receive the label "FIFA Preferred Producers."
