Facebook: Top 100 European clubs with the most fans (December 2017)

With more than 106 million fans, Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most followed European club on Facebook, according to data recorded by News Tank Football, which establishes the Top 100 most popular European clubs on this social network on 01/12/2017.

With 437,903 additional subscribers in November 2017, Manchester City FC (Premier League, 10^th in the Facebook 100) is the club that recorded the best increase in gross terms, in the Top 100, ahead of Inter Milan (+387,459 Facebook fans) and Paris Saint-Germain (+317,172). The club with the highest percentage growth was Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM): +6.3%, or 33,004 additional fans.

The Premier League is the most represented league in the top 20 (seven clubs), followed by the Serie A TIM (four). LaLiga Santander (three clubs) is in third place, tied with the Turkish Süper Lig, with the Turkish league being the only league outside of the Top 5 in Europe to be represented in the top 20. The Bundesliga places two representatives and the Ligue 1 Conforama just one (Paris Saint-Germain).
