Integrity of sports betting: GLMS sets up a new sports betting monitoring tool, as of 01/01/2018

The Global Lottery Monitoring System (GLMS), "its 24 member lotteries and international partners (CIO, Interpol, UEFA, FIFA, Europol), will set up, in partnership with TXODDS (specialist betting data collector, Lausanne, SUI), a new device and tool for analysis and a new way of monitoring sports betting for the benefit of national platforms against the manipulation of competitions," announced the global non-profit association involved in the fight for the integrity of betting on 07/12/2017.

"This tool from 01/01/2018, will allow real-time analysis, capable of processing more than 1 million betting odds every 5 seconds and more than 1,600 competitions for football only. The new system will provide 24 GLMS member operators and partners with an instant messaging service to communicate in real time with GLMS operational units in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Hong Kong (China)," said GLMS, an emanation of the WLA (World Lottery Association) and the EL (European Lotteries) created on 21/01/2015 and functioning since 01/06/2015.
