AS Roma: the four main governing bodies approve the new 'Stadio della Roma' project

The Stadio della Roma will be built in the Tor di Valle district, southwest of Rome. In March 2014, James Pallotta, president of AS Roma, presented the project that the Rome city council finally declared to be of public interest in June 2017, but with some modifications to the original document. It was then necessary that the club received the go-ahead from the Conferenza dei Servizi (Conference of Services), a meeting of the four public authorities (the State, the Lazio Region, the Roma Capital Urban Community and the City of Rome).
