FFF: a seventh positive fiscal year (+€812,000) and a total revenue of €267.39m in 2016-17

The fiscal year of the FFF closed on 30/06/2017, and showed a positive net result of €812,000 (+€668,000 in 2015-16), with a turnover increase of €5.8m. The net result has remained positive since 2010-11 (seven consecutive years), indicated the 2016-17 financial report of the French Football Federation, presented by Lionel Boland, general treasurer of the FFF, and adopted by the Federal Assembly (95.53% votes) in Paris (FRA) on 16/12/2017.

"Total revenue amounted to €267.39m, total expenses were €266.57m, and 70% of revenue came from commercial resources (partnerships, TV rights, ticketing)," said the FFF.

"The results of the French national team at Euro 2016 ended on 10/07/2016 (defeat in the final to Portugal, 1-0), the result of this participation is reported in the 2016-17 fiscal year, therefore, the allocation of €23.5m paid by UEFA has been taken into account," said Lionel Boland.
