Manchester City announce turnover close to Bayern Munich for 2012/13

"Next year Manchester will have two of the top five clubs in terms of worldwide revenues (for the fiscal year 2012/13). We're catching up with Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, GER)" said Tom Glick, CEO of Manchester City (Premier League, ENG) on the 17/10/2013.

Manchester City were ranked seventh in the "Money League 2013," the ranking system for the richest European clubs, compiled annually by the audit firm Deloitte. The January 2013 edition focuses on the income of the 2011/12 season.

With €285.6 million, the Citizens are ranked behind two London clubs, Arsenal (6^th, €290.3 million) and Chelsea (5^th, €322.6 million), Bayern Munich (4^th, €368.4 million) Manchester United (third, €395.9 million), and finally the two Spanish clubs, FC Barcelona (2^nd, €483 million) and Real Madrid (1^st, €512.6 million).
