Matchday 16 of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 27,210 spectators per game, from 15 to 18/12/2017. The average stadium fill rate was 65%.

FC Barcelona - RC Deportivo La Coruña (4-0), on Sunday 17/12/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), was the game that recorded the highest attendance of the weekend, with 53,607 spectators at the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity, a fill rate of 54%). Three games drew more than 40,000 spectators and four less than 20,000. Real Madrid won the 2017 Club World Cup against Gremio (BRA) (1-0), in Abu Dhabi (UAE), on 16/12/2017. The CD Leganés - Real Madrid CF match, originally scheduled for 17/12/2017, was therefore postponed to a later date.

The average attendance of the Spanish league reached 27,237 spectators per game after 16 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 72%.
